From 1 December 2021, you will receive a letter or email from us to confirm that your account has been successfully transferred to Pioneer Energy Retail.

This will include your new account number and instructions on how to pay your bill and how to access your account information online through our My Account service. My Account allows you to keep track of your power bills and make payments online. 

The current rates you pay for your electricity will remain the same and you will send you an itemised bill each month.

If you have multiple accounts with Pioneer Energy, you will receive a letter per account.

You will receive your final bill from Pioneer Energy in early December for your power usage up to 30 November 2021, which will need to be paid to Pioneer Energy.

From 1 December 2021, you will be billed by Pioneer Energy Retail.

If you have any remaining credit on your Pioneer Energy account, this will be transferred to Pioneer Energy Retail.

The Meter Equipment Providers charge the retailer for the use and maintenance of the meter at the property. This means you receive one invoice that includes metering charges rather than two invoices, one from the retailer and one from the metering company.
